Information on the health hazards of vinyl-fluoride (75025) (VF) and vinyl-bromide (593602) (VBr) exposure is reviewed.(SIC-9999) Physical and chemical properties of the compounds are described. Laboratory animal and human toxicity studies are described. The flammability of VF and VBr are discussed. Production and uses are described along with methods for sampling and analysis. The authors recommend future walk through and industrial hygiene surveys of facilities that use VF and VBr.
