Occupational carcinogenesis program: July 1, 1975 - September 30, 1976.

A first year report of the NIOSH Occupational Carcinogenesis Program is presented. The program is a comprehensive effort that includes surveillance, industry wide studies, and laboratory research. Resources are basically allocated to three areas: recognition, evaluation, and control. A summary of first year accomplishments in each of these areas is presented, and examples of specific projects are given. Plans and prospects for 1977 are discussed, and the 1977 budget is detailed.
