Assessment of University Occupational Safety and Health Program Practices, Survey Results.

Colleges and universities throughout the country were surveyed to determine the extent of existing occupational safety and health programs at institutions of higher learning. Questionnaires were mailed to selected campuses to obtain information on program administration, and practices directed toward environmental protection, fire prevention, security, walkway safety, medical care, construction and maintenance, and campus vehicles. Sample selection is descvibed, and a sample questionnaire is included. Program structures are diagrammed, and sample policy statements are given. Accident report forms and safety checklists for several service areas are included.
