The proceedings are presented of a workshop on occupational health engineering control technology held in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 16 and 17, 1979. The major topics covered are university educational and research programs in occupational health control technology. NIOSH grant and control technology programs, and occupational health engineering education. The need for significantly increased basic and applied control technology research is emphasized. The workshop participants recommended that additional educational effort be applied to training in occupational health for traditional engineering disciplines, developing occupational health engineering as a discipline, and providing occupational health engineering training for industrial hygienists.
