Injuries to the Extremities: Recreation Injuries in Industry.

Off work injuries that can interfere with a worker's performance and productivity are reviewed. Health problems discussed include low back pain, shoulder tenderness, arthritis, and fixation (frozen shoulder), arm pain caused by supraspinatous tendon tissue breakdown and calcium deposition, bicipital tendonitis, elbow tendonitis (tennis elbow), wrist tenosynovitis (Quervain's disease), finger tenosynovitis (trigger finger) and (baseball finger), post traumatic arthritis and trochanteric bursitis. Recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of these injuries are given by the author.
