This bibliography covers the problem of dust explosions in grain elevators, feed mills, and related industries, focusing primarily on the period 1955 through 1975, although older relevant sources and a number of 1976 references are included. This material was previously published as the Bibliography of Grain-dust Fire and Explosion (IS-EMRRI-5). The bibliography contains 871 unique citations. Chapters cover the following subjects: occurrence, cause, prevention, and control of fire and dust explosions; dust explosion properties; dust control; dust concentration measurement; combustion and explosion (theory and mechanism); static electricity; properties of plastics; codes and regulations; production, storage, and distribution of grain and other products; properties of dusts and powders; and properties of whole agricultural products. Keyword indexes are included after each section in the current printing. A listing of all the keywords assigned to the document is included in each entry and serves as a "keyword abstract". A more specialized set of references may be obtained by using a computer search of the keywords listed.
