The recirculation of industrial exhaust air: proceedings of a symposium, October 6-7, 1977, Cincinnati, Ohio. Cincinnati, OH: U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, Public Health Service, Centers for Disease Control, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Contract 210-77-0056, 1977 Dec; :105-116
A status report of efforts to study recirculation in a foundry, a woodworking facility, and a lead battery manufacturing facility is given in a paper presented at the Symposium on Recirculation of Industrial Exhaust Air held October 6-7, 1977 in Cincinnati, Ohio. At the foundry, the potential for recirculation is being evaluated, but no results are available because the study was just begun. Ongoing evaluations at the woodworking and lead battery plants show favorable results, although the investigations are not yet complete. The theory and form of the investigation are presented as are the monitoring and evaluating methods. A discussion follows the report.
