Abstract
A method for the analysis of n-butylamine (109739) in air, based on collection on sulfuric-acid (7664939) treated silica-gel, desorption with 50 percent methanol (67561), and analysis by gas-chromatography with a flame ionization detector is described. Information is given on the principle of the method, range and sensitivity, interferences, precision and accuracy, advantages and disadvantages of the method, apparatus, reagents, procedure, calibration, standards, and calculations.
