NIOSH Backup Data Report Dinitrobenzene S214 (Set 4).
NIOSH 1978 Apr:14 pages
A procedure for collection and analysis of airborne samples of dinitrobenzene (25154545) (all isomers) was validated by use of the following: m-dinitrobenzene (108463); o-dinitrobenzene ; and p- dinitrobenzene (100254). The protocol for validation was described. Only the meta isomer was used in the validation study. Information is presented on sampling and analysis, collection efficiency and storage stability. An independent method of measuring dinitrobenzene was used as a comparison. Precision and accuracy of the procedures was determined. Results were listed. Attachments included generation of organic particulates, generation of test atmospheres, and summary of statistical terms and formulas. Analysis of 18 samples at three test levels was carried out. Analysis of 18 samples collected from dynamically generated test atmospheres were also performed.
