The method is described for determining methylcyclohexanone (1331222) in the air, including the principle, range and sensitivity, interferences, precision and accuracy, advantages and disadvantages, apparatus, reagents, calibration and standards, and calculations. The principle is based upon gas chromatography of samples collected on Porapak-Q with desorption with acetone. The range is 210-850 milligrams per cubic meter with a precision of 460 milligrams per cubic meter (skin).
