The method is described for determining allyl-glycidyl-ether (106923) in the air, including the principle, range and sensitivity, interferences, precision and accuracy, advantages and disadvantages, apparatus, reagents, calibration and standards, and calculations. The principle is based upon gas chromatography after desorption by diethyl-ether of the sample collected in a Tenax-GC tube. The range is 19-87 milligrams per cubic meter with a precision of 0.057 (coefficient of variation). The OSHA standard is 10ppm or 45 milligrams per cubic meter (ceiling).
