NIOSH Analytical Method, Sulfur Dioxide, Backup Data Report S308, (Set 3).
NIOSH 1977 Jul:16 pages
The backup data report is given for validating the method for determining sulfur-dioxide (7446095) in the air. Samples were analyzed regarding the collection efficiency of the midget bubbler containing hydrogen-peroxide, trapping of sulfur-dioxide in the prefilter under both low and high relative humidity, storage stability of samples, and the precision and accuracy of the method. The coefficient of variation is 0.054. Attachments include procedures for generating test atmospheres, including a schematic of sample generation facilities, and of known humidity in the atmospheres as well as a summary of statistical terms and formulas.
