Occupational safety and health training for government employees.
Wichita State University Division of Continuing Education, 1977 Jan; :1-22
Technical report of an 8 week intensive training course in occupational safety and industrial hygiene, delivered by the division of continuing education, Wichita State University over a period of several years to more than 300 individuals employed primarily by state and local government, indicates that the project has successfully accomplished several goals. All data show that every individual participating in the training course significantly increased technical knowledge, even those who had considerable prior knowledge and experience. Final evaluation survey shows that about 94% of the respondents recognized gain in technical ability, the same percentage indicated that they are still utilizing the capabilities obtained and would recommend that others should receive this training.
