This report discusses the failure of a method which had been suggested for the analysis of chloroprene (126998). Samples of chloroprene in air were generated and collected in activated coconut charcoal. The desorbed samples were analyzed by gas chromatography and the amount measured was corrected for desorption efficiency. Details of the procedure are given and a backup data report is also provided.
