Abstract
A walk-through survey was conducted at the Capacitor Production Operation (SIC-3629), Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Bloomington, Indiana, on December 4, 1975, to determine if a mortality study of workers exposed to polychlorinated-biphenyls (1336363) at this facility would be feasible. The plant and current processes in the capacitor making operation are described. Information is given on the medical program, personnel records, and environmental monitoring. Due to the amount of time required to search all the records and the practice of destroying old records, walk-through surveys of other facilities should be conducted.
