NIOSH Analytical Method, Thallium, Soluble Compounds (as T1), S306, (Set U).
NIOSH 1976 Dec:7 pages
A method is described for the analysis of thallium (7440280), in the form of soluble compounds, in the air by filter collection followed by acid digestion of sample containing filters and determination of thallium with an atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Data are given on the principle, range and sensitivity, interference, precision, accuracy, advantages and disadvantages of the method. Also described are the apparatus, reagents, and procedures used, analysis of samples; interferences; calibration and standards; and calculations.
