NIOSH Analytical Method Aldrin, S275, (Set S).

The standard method is described for the determination of aldrin (309002) in air for use in compliance with the OSHA standard of 0.25 milligram per cubic meter. The air sample is drawn through a glass fiber filter where isooctane extracts the analyte, and the contents of the filter are analyzed by gas chromatography and compared with reference samples. The method has been validated over the range of of 0.025 milligram per cubic meter. The coefficient of variation in the test sampling was 0.092.
