Summary Plant Observation Report and Evaluation for the Organotins.

Consolidated report of plant visits to the General Tire and Rubber Company, S. D. Warren Division of Scott Paper Company, Cardinal Chemical Company, Argus Chemical Company, Premier Thermo Plastics, and Thompson-Hayward Chemical Company between November 4 and December 18, 1975. Three of the six plants use organotins (7440315) as stabilizers or catalysts in manufacturing polyvinylchloride (9002862) resins; two manufacture organotins and the last one uses organotin in the fungicide it makes. The production processes work practices, and medical and sanitation procedures in the plants are described indicating good housekeeping and measures required for safeguarding the health of workers in each plant.
