A method is described for absorption on Tenax-GC resin and desorption with ethanol for gas chromatographic determination of ethylene-glycol (628966) dinitrate and/or nitroglycerin (55630) in the air. Data are given on the principle, range and sensitivity, precision, accuracy, advantages and disadvantages of the method. Also described are the apparatus, reagents and procedure used; analysis of samples; interferences; calibration and standards; and calculations.
