A method is described for the adsorption on silica (7631869) gel, and desorption with 95 percent ethanol (64175) for gas chromatographic determination of aniline (62533) in air. Data are given on the principle, range and sensitivity, interferences, precision, accuracy, advantages and disadvantages of the method. Also described are the apparatus, reagents and procedure used; analysis of samples; determination of desorption efficiency; calibration and standards, and calculations.
