Abstract
A method is described for the determination of tetramethyl- succinonitrile in air through adsorption on charcoal, desorption with carbon-disulfide, and gas chromatography. Data are given on the principle, range and sensitivity, interferences, precision, accuracy, advantages and disadvantages of the method. Also described are the apparatus, reagents and procedure used; analysis of samples; determination of desorption efficiency; calibration and standards, and calculations.
