A method is described for the determination of ethylamine (75047) in air through adsorption on silica (7631869) gel and desorption with aqueous sulfuric-acid (7664939). Data are given on the principle, range and sensitivity interferences, precision, accuracy, advantages and disadvantages of the method. Also described are the apparatus, reagents and procedure used; analysis of samples; determination of desorption efficiency; calibration and standards, and calculations.
