Based on the environmental/medical evaluation it has been determined that production workers at the Becton-Dickinson thermometer factory (SIC-3829) in Juncos, Puerto Rico are exposed to potentially toxic concentrations of mercury (7439976) vapor. Mercury vapor concentration measured during this evaluation ranged from less than addition to this, eight cases of clinical mercurialism were diagnosed by the medical officer.
