Report of a symposium on "Occupational Exposure to Fibrous Glass", held June 26 and 27, 1974, giving an overview of the state of research on fibrous glass exposure. Topics include the scope of the symposium; technology of fibrous glass and physical and aerodynamic properties; environmental measurements of airborne fibrous glass; biologic effects; and epidemiologic studies. Papers presented include those on the effects of fibrous glass on lungs, respiratory tract, skin, eyes, and on mortality patterns among fibrous glass production workers.
