Abstract
Factors for the successful employment of the orthopedically handicapped include proper medical evaluation; proper job placement and periodic re-evaluation of employees health status. Vocational rehabilitational of the recently handicapped requires the following careful evaluations: medical, psychological, including intelligence testing; social adjustment; and vocational interests and abilities.
