Occupational health -- the complementary approach to environmental health.
The Way Ahead for Occupational Health, Division of Occupational Health, U.S. Department of Health Education, and Welfare, Cincinnati, Ohio, 1964 Feb; :58-65
Insight into the problems of environmental health may be gained by studying the effects of working in various occupations on a person's health. The circumscribed and repetitious nature of the work environment permits it to be studied more accurately and intensively. Effects of mining, industrial chemicals, and noise are discussed as they relate to the general environment.
