Occupational Health in the Public Health Service.
The Way Ahead for Occupational Health, Division of Occupational Health, Public Health Service, Cincinnati, Ohio 1964 Feb:42-48
The role of the Public Health Service in occupational health is discussed, with emphasis on the future. The changing pattern of occupational disease will call for more refined methods of study to uncover subtle injury and disability that may develop from low levels of on-the-job exposure and stress over a working lifetime. Epidemiologic studies of workers are cited as increasingly important.
