Procedure for testing strength of hose and couplings.

A performance test procedure is described for testing the strength of hose and couplings of supplied-air respirators, covering six types of respirators. Depending on type, the test requires a pull of either 113 kilograms or 45 kilograms for five minutes. Some are tested with an internal air pressure.
