An investigation was conducted into an alleged dermatitis problem in conjunction with rail tank car fabrication operations (SIC-3743). The dermatitis appeared to be related to the use of an asbestos (1332214) blanket during the welding of the tank car undercarriage. A non-asbestos blanket was substituted for the asbestos blanket prior to the medical portion of the investigation,
