Abstract
The work of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health is reviewed briefly. Criteria documents are prepared for chemical environmental agents and physical agents, which are submitted to the Department of Labor to promulgate standards. The establishment of new decompression tables is a priority emphasized in this symposium, and which could be developed under the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
