Chromic Acid Mist in Air.
NIOSH 1972 Nov:4 pages
An atomic absorption method is described for the determination of chromic-acid (7738945) in air using nitrous-oxide (10024972) acetylene (74862) burner head. Atmospheric samples are obtained by drawing a measured volume of air through a 0.8 micron filter. The filter is wet ashed and analyzed for chromium (7440473) by atomic absorption spectroscopy using a nitrous-oxide-acetylene flame.
