A method is described for the gas chromatographic determination of ethyl-alcohol (64175) in the air, following preliminary passage of an air sample over charcoal and desorption of the latter with carbon- disulfide (75150) containing 1 percent 2-butanol (78922). Details are given as to range, sensitivity, procedure, desorption efficiency, calibration, standards and calculations.
