A method is described for the gas chromatographic determination of dimethylamine (124403) in the air, following preliminary passage of an air sample over silica gel and desorption of the latter with a mixture of sulfuric-acid (7664939) and ethanol (64175). Details are given as to range, sensitivity, procedure, desorption efficiency, calibration, standards and calculations.
