A method is described for the gas chromatographic determination of diacetone-alcohol (123422) in the air, following preliminary passage of an air sample over charcoal and desorption of the latter with carbon-disulfide (75150) containing 5 percent 2-propanol (67630). Details are given as to range, sensitivity, procedure, desorption efficiency, calibration, standards and calculations.
