A method is described for the adsorption on charcoal and desorption with carbon-disulfide for gas chromatographic determination of butadiene (106990). Data are given on the principle, range and sensitivity, interference, precision, accuracy, advantages and disadvantages of the method. Also described are the apparatus, reagents and procedure used; analysis of samples; determination of desorption efficiency; calibration and standards, and calculations.
