Fractional carbon monoxide uptake in an employed population.
Thorax 1975 Sep; 29(5):505-510
Fractional carbon-monoxide uptake is studied in 913 New York City transit workers. Data on individual variability suggest that the carbon-monoxide (630080) uptake test is not an accurate prediction of respiratory function. Data are presented on the relation of smoking to the decline in carbon-monoxide uptake with age.
