Control of dust from continuous coal mining machines.
Ann NY Acad Sci 1972 Dec; 200(1):747-764
Review is presented of performance tests on commercially available dust collection mechanisms, including gravitational, inertial, diffusional, agglomeration, electrostatic, filtration, radiation and thermal gradient, magnetic, and particle build-up. Inertial collectors are determined to be the most efficient for controlling respirable coal mine dust.
