Environmental evaluation of the potential risks due to chlorine (7782505) gas, mercury (7439976) vapor, and alkali mist in a chemical industry (SIC-2813) reveals levels of caustic mist and mercury are not hazardous. A potential hazard from chlorine gas exists if respiratory protective equipment is not worn.
