NIOSH criteria document development.
J Occup Med 1975 Feb; 17(2):77-79
A critical review is presented of the development of the NIOSH Criteria Document intended to serve as the basis for establishing an air standard of occupational lead (7439921) exposure. In addition to the air levels, the document establishes requirements for work practices, biological and medical examinations. Mention is made of acceptable lead levels in the blood and in the urine.
