Environmental survey of a plant manufacturing a polyvinyl chloride backed material reveals potentially hazardous levels of vinyl- chloride (75014) gas. It is recommended that airborne concentrations of vinyl chloride be reduced to non-detectable levels. Respirators should be worn by all employees potentially exposed until control measures are effective.
