Screening techniques for undue lead exposure in children: biological and practical considerations.

Several techniques are discussed for screening children for lead (7439921) exposure, with the concentration of lead in whole blood determined to be the most reliable for detecting recent lead absorption with the added capability of revealing adverse health effects which correlate with blood lead concentrations.
