Study is reported of chronic manganese (7439965) poisoning in miners and factory workers. Topics include: symptoms of neurologic and psychiatric disorders; treatment; similarily to parkinsonism and distinction between the two disorders; response of patients to levodopa; and relationship between metabolism of catecholamines and of manganese.
