A method for the detection of hemagglutinating antibodies to the thermophyllic actinomycetes is described, in which the antigens are coupled to sheep cells by chromium chloride. Results are cited as comparing favorably in diagnosing farmer's lung with the agar gel diffusion test, which is considered much less simple.
