Essentials of chest radiography.
Jacobson-G; Bohlig-H; Kiviluoto-R
Radiology 1970 May; 95(2):445-450
The technical factors of chest radiography are given in detail, and minimum standards for equipment are outlined. Variable high kilovoltage and constant milliampere-seconds exposure, with either a fixed grid or air gap to reduce secondary radiation, are recommended as the radiographic technique of choice. With this, the roentgenograms are more consistently of high quality and the unsatisfactory examinations are far fewer than with other techniques.
