The NIOSH Mining Program will present at the 22st Underground Stone Seminar. This seminar will be held at a new location this year: the Louisville Marriott Downtown, 280 W. Jefferson St. in Louisville, Kentucky, on December 5 and 6, 2017.

According to the seminar organizers, it is "still the only national meeting primarily focused on underground stone mining" and it "will provide an update on issues and research relevant to the health and safety of underground stone miners. Regulatory developments will be included among the topics discussed, as well as their impact on the underground aggregates industry. "
