Getting Exercise: Reducing Risks Associated with Long Work Hours
Long work hours and limited access to safe places to exercise may make it difficult to find the time and energy to be physically active. While deployed,
- Try to be active, especially if your role is sedentary.
- If safe, take short walks around the hotel or incident command post.
- At a minimum, take short breaks to stand or walk in place.
- Do not cut into your sleep time to exercise.
