Minimal Reproducible Example(Page 1 of 1)-WordPress won't allow deletion of cookies on linked pages

Procedure: Click “Create Cookie”. Click “Get Cookie”. You should get ‘This is test cookie 0’ returned in the alert box. Now click on link ‘Now lets link to another page’. On the linked page select “Delete Cookies” then click “Get Cookie”. The alert should return empty string but it doesn’t. This only occurs in WordPress hosted page.
