Driving Directions
The National Center for Health Statistics is located at 3311 Toledo Road, Metro #4, in Hyattsville, Maryland. At the intersection of Toledo Road and America Blvd. Just a block below Prince George’s Plaza Shopping Center. Please park in the parking garage adjacent to our building. Parking for the first two hours is free.
Directions from College Park or Greenbelt via Greenbelt Road and Adelphi Road
From University of Maryland, take Greenbelt Road/Route 193 to Adelphi Road. Make a left at the traffic light at Adelphi Road. You want to be in the left-most turning lane when turning onto Adelphi Road. Continue on Adelphi Road. You’ll pass Northwestern High School on your right. At the second traffic light after the High School, make a right onto Toledo Road. We are the third structure located on the left (a very modern looking tinted-windowed 7 story building) labeled Metro #4 at the intersection of Toledo Road and America Blvd, just past the metal sculpture. Please park in the parking garage located on your left just before our building. Turn left into the parking garage, park in any available parking space.
Directions from Silver Spring, Gaithersburg, and Northern Virginia via 495
Take 495 East (Inner Loop) towards Beltway East/Baltimore/Silver Spring. Take the New Hampshire Ave., South (exit 28B) heading toward Takoma Park. Merge onto New Hampshire Ave. and immediately get into the left lane. At the 2nd traffic light (.3 miles), make a left onto Adelphi Road. Continue on Adelphi Road for 3 ½ miles and six traffic lights. At your 6th traffic light make a right onto Toledo Road. We are the third structure located on the left (a very modern looking windowed 7 story building) labeled Metro #4 at the intersection of Toledo Road and America Blvd. Please park in the parking garage located on your left just before our building. Turn left into the parking garage, park in any available parking space.
Directions from Southeast DC via I-295 North
Take I-295 heading North. Keep left to take DC-295 N toward I-95 N/Baltimore/US 50 E/Annapolis, (crossing into Maryland). Take the exit toward MD-410/Hyattsville/New Carrollton. Turn left onto Riverdale Road for 1 mile. Riverdale Road becomes East-West Highway/MD-410 W. Stay on East-West highway for 2 miles. Turn right on to Belcrest Road, right before Prince George’s Plaza. At the next traffic light, make a right onto Toledo Road. We are the second building located on the right (a very modern looking windowed 7 story building) labeled Metro #4 at the intersection of Toledo Road and America Blvd. just past the metal sculpture. In terms of parking, please park in the above ground parking garage just beyond our building on the right. Turn right into the parking garage, park in any available parking space.
Driving Directions from Downtown DC via Rhode Island Avenue
Take Rhode Island Avenue to Michigan Avenue. Michigan Avenue becomes Queens Chapel Road. At Turn left onto East-West Highway. At the next traffic light (at the top of the hill just before Prince George’s Plaza) make a right onto Belcrest Road as you are turning onto Belcrest Road you will see Capital One Bank on your left and further down you will see Target on your left. At the next traffic light, make a right onto Toledo Road. We are the second building located on the right (a very modern looking 7 story tinted windowed building) labeled 3311, Metro #4 at the intersection of Toledo Road and America Blvd. just past the metal sculpture. In terms of parking, please park in the above ground parking garage just beyond our building on the right. Turn right into the parking garage, park in any available parking space.
Metro Directions
Directions from the Metro via the Green Line
Take the Green Line towards Greenbelt to the Prince George’s Plaza metro stop. To exit the metro bear left. Once you exit the metro you’ll cross over the bus and the kiss and ride pick-up points. You’ll see a sign in front of you that says Metro Shops. Once you come through the metro shops you’ll be facing East-West Highway and Prince George’s Plaza Shopping Center will be in front of you. Make a right onto East-West highway and come down about 1,000 feet to the next traffic light which is Belcrest Road. Make a left onto Belcrest Road. Continue on Belcrest Road (as you are walking down Belcrest Road you will see a Capital One Bank, and further down a Target across the street on your left). Walk down to the next traffic light which is Toledo Road (You’ll see the Kaiser Permanente Building on the corner). Make a right onto Toledo Road. We are the second building located on the right (a very modern looking 7 story tinted windowed building) labeled 3311, Metro #4 at the intersection of Toledo Road and America Blvd. just past the metal sculpture.
Bus Directions
Directions from the MetroBus Stop
Take the C4, F6, F8, R3, or R4 bus routes to Belcrest Rd, across the street from the Prince George’s Mall. Walk North on Belcrest Rd (Prince George’s Plaza will be on your left) until you get to Toledo Rd. Make a right on Toledo Rd. We are the second building located on the right (a very modern looking 7 story tinted windowed building) labeled 3311, Metro #4 at the intersection of Toledo Road and America Blvd. just past the metal sculpture.
