You Are Invited to NCHHSTP’s Epidemiologic & Economic Modeling Agreement (NEEMA) Meeting

NEEMA is a cooperative agreement mechanism funded by the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP) to support economic and epidemiologic modeling activities that inform and, ultimately, improve the effectiveness of public health programs.

The first 5-year cooperative agreement NEEMA 1.0, 2014-2019, supported over 40 projects in the areas of adolescent and school health and prevention of HIV, sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis, and viral hepatitis and resulted in nearly 60 manuscripts and over 70 presentations.

The second cooperative agreement, NEEMA 2.0, builds on the work from NEEMA 1.0 in collaboration with the CDC-funded multi-institutional research consortia: Coalition for Applied Modeling for Prevention (CAMP; University at Albany), and Prevention Policy Modeling Lab (Stanford University). The meeting will include presenters from NCHHSTP Divisions and CDC-funded partners discussing modeling experience, successes, and NEEMA 2.0 priorities.
