High Obesity Program (HOP)
CDC funds 15 land grant universities to work with community extension services in counties where more than 40% of adults have obesity. Efforts focus on increasing access to healthier foods and safe places for physical activity, including activities that will reduce or eliminate health disparities related to nutrition, physical activity, and obesity.
